Working Bridges for Employees

Working Bridges is an employee benefit available to you through your employer and United Way. Working Bridges Resource Coordinators are trained community resource specialists who are here to help you with confidential and judgment free support.

Your Working Bridges Resource Coordinator can help you with:

  • Healthcare and Mental Health Referrals

  • Legal Services

  • Housing

  • Transportation

  • Child Care

  • Budgeting and Debt Management

  • And much more!

FAQs

Who can use Working Bridges? Any employee who works at an organization that offers the Working Bridges program. Immediate family members may also utilize Resource Coordinator assistance to help stabilize a shared issue in a household.

What does Working Bridges offer? Resource Coordinators can meet with you at your workplace to connect you with community resources such as transportation, financial support, taxes, basic needs, and more!

  • Income Advance Loans regardless of credit

  • Financial Coaching and Life Skills

  • On-Site Trainings and Education Classes

Does Working Bridges cost money? No. There is no up-front or out-of-pocket cost to the employee to work with a Working Bridges Resource Coordinator. Employers offer the program as a free employee benefit.

Will meeting with a resource coordinator affect my employment? No. Your meeting with the Resource Coordinator is 100 percent confidential and is part of your employee wellness and stability package. You can reach out to the Resource Coordinator to meet in person, virtual, by phone, text or email.
