Who We Are

The community defines our priorities

We’re building a stronger community by working together.

Our role is to focus on the unmet needs most important to our community. A community-wide study completed in 2016 revealed five areas that guide our investments. We work with and alongside all sectors of our region: nonprofits, government, corporations and individual donors to innovate, design solutions and power strategies to address our community’s highest priorities, complex issues and inequities in our systems that affect the lives of our neighbors.

5 Key Strategies guide our work:

Reducing Substance Misuse

Through prevention, eliminating barriers to treatment and supporting recovery.

Fostering Financial Stability

Access to support, resources and workplace innovations help people get and keep stable employment.

Meeting Basic Needs

With emergency shelter, affordable and alternative housing; access to healthy food; reducing barriers to transportation.

Promoting Mental Health

With crisis services focused on prevention, wellness, and ensuring access to mental health treatment.

Supporting Families

Building skills, knowledge and access to resources supports the development and well-being of families of all ages.
