Volunteer

There are so many ways to volunteer for United Way, our programs and in partner organizations throughout our community.

Volunteer Connection

Visit our Volunteer Connection website for up-to-date opportunities to volunteer with a variety of local organizations.

Volunteer opportunities for Vermonters ages 55+

  • RSVP: RSVP is a special program designed for adults 55 and older to connect and share their talent and experience through volunteering. Volunteers choose how, where and how often they want to volunteer. Learn more.
  • Bone Builders: Bone Builders is an exercise program designed to prevent (and even reverse) the negative effects of osteoporosis. We are actively recruiting volunteer instructors to bring this program to more people in our community. Learn more.

Community Leadership Opportunities

At United Way of Northwest Vermont, volunteers hold the decision-making power. Our volunteer Board of Directors, committees and teams provide valuable time, knowledge, and expertise to guide and direct the organization.

Check our our Community Leaders page to see our current volunteer leaders. Contact Megan Bridges, megan@unitedwaynwvt.org, if you’re interested in helping to guide and direct our work in the community.
