365 Small Business Leader Spotlight: Fox Law

Tell us about your business. What are your core values?

  • FoxLaw is a real estate law firm built on communication, education, and long-term relationships.  We work to see more than the transactional nature of the client’s matter; we also focus upon the people involved and purposes behind the deal, all while ensuring our clients have the opportunity to learn about the real estate process and be both an informed consumer and an informed citizen.

Why is being connected to the community important to your business?

  • Pragmatically, because community engagement helps create connections which can build relationships which can generate business. More importantly, because community engagement is an important part of the social contract: I grew up here, and with that comes a desire and an obligation to help make this community welcoming and supportive of others much as other businesses and individuals did in the past.

Why is your United Way partnership important to you?

  • It is all about synergy: supporting the United Way allows me to contribute more impactfully and with greater purpose than I might be able to individually.
